This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The bottom has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
Wow. It's been a while since I've been on Deviant Art! I guess I've been pretty busy. Well, to start off, I've had some pretty big changes go on in my life: 1.) I finished up my student teaching (which was one of the best experiences I've ever had), 2.) I graduated in December (which was one of the proudest moments of my life), and 3.) I got engaged in August and will be getting married in June.
Currently, I'm in what I like to call "job limbo." I have to wait for my teacher's license to come in the mail (a couple of months) before I can apply to any jobs. There really aren't any jobs available right now, so I guess it kind of works out. However, it's a bummer because there's a time-span that leaves me unemployed. The good news is that I might have luck doing some freelance work. I kicked off the New Year by returning from a week's visit to Japan and by finishing up a mural of a sky scene for my second cousin's dining room. Japan was awesome and the mural turned out really nice and earned me some good money. Hopefully I can scrounge up some more work until my license comes and hopefully by the time my license arrives, there will be more jobs available.
That's all for now. I need to get a commissioned thank you present started pretty soon.
Wow! That's awesome! Good for you! College just started today so I didn't have to go to all my classes. I'm taking some art education classes, drawing, studio and art history. I think it'll be a pretty good semester (and not as busy) so I'm pretty excited about that!
I guess the current plan is to teach art. I figure that way I can work, but still do my own artwork on the side. I think it might be a good starting point if I eventually want to do something else. That or I might find a job elsewhere and I can always fall back on teaching. A teaching job would be nice too because teachers are needed in every state are in demand currently. We'll see!
School's going well. I'm keeping rather busy with classes M-R 9-5pm and swing dancing. I'm gonna try out for the swing team come next semester, which means I really have to practice hard this semester. Painting is getting a little stressful (already) but I just need to try and stay positive. Oh well. Tomorrow I'm going to visit a physical therapist in regards to my neck/back. I had gone to a chiro and gotten x-rays... Instead of having a natural curve to my neck, it's just a diagonal line! Yikes! I'm going to see the PT for a second opinion (and it's less expensive/more convenient if they can help me out).
Apartment life is awesome. I love fending for myself and having my own room. My roomies are great too! Woot. That's about it. How 'bout you, dear cuz?
